The
Partridge Family VHS
Hop on board the psychedelic school bus with
everybody's favorite '70s TV rock band family.
Shirley Jones is the widowed mother who joins
her five kids (including David Cassidy, Susan
Dey and Danny Bonaduce) in their musical group,
and Dave Madden plays their harried manager, in
this song-filled sitcom that aired on ABC from
1970 to 1974. Each volume features three
episodes and runs about 75 min.
The
Partridge Family: 6 Partridges And 3 Angels
VHS
A trio of heavenly guest stars join the
Partridges in these episodes. First, can Farrah
Fawcett help foil a con artist looking to sue
the family in "The Sound of Money"?
Jaclyn Smith could jeopardize Shirley's new
romance in "When Mother Gets Married,"
and Keith has "Double Trouble" when he
has two dates--one of them with Cheryl
Stopplemoor (Ladd)!--on the same night.
The
Partridge Family: C'mon Get Happy! VHS
See how the Partridge brood took up their
instruments in the pilot episode, "What?
And Get Out of Show Business?"; a national
TV appearance could be jeopardized by Laurie's
braces in "Old Scrapmouth," guest
starring Mark Hamill; and George Chakiris plays
a Navy officer and old flame of Shirley in
"Anchors Aweigh."
The
Partridge Family: Caution: Nervous Mother
Driving VHS
"Knight in Shining Armor" guest stars
Bobby Sherman as a would-be songwriter hiding
out in the Partridges' studio (in the episode
that led to Bobby's hit spin-off, "Getting
Together"), while a skunk on the bus
creates havoc in "But the Memory Lingers
On," and Jodie Foster guests as Danny's
feisty girlfriend, Gloria Hickey, in "The
Eleven Year Itch."
The
Partridge Family: Stars In Our Eyes VHS
The rock-and-roll brood had better learn to
"play that funky music" when they're
mistakenly booked into a black "Soul
Club" run by Lou Gossett, Jr. and Richard
Pryor; Laurie is the reluctant love object of
"A Man Called Snake," long-haired
biker Rob Reiner; and will a visit by Johnny
Bench help Danny and Keith get over
"striking out" with Mary Ann Mobley in
"I Left My Heart in Cincinnati"? |
