This December, AMC Networks has a jam-packed lineup featuring the long-awaited return of a guilty pleasure, All Reality Original Series Bridezillas, an all-new season of AMC+ Original Series Sanctuary: A Witches Tale, new episodes of AMC+ exclusive The Assassin starring Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard) and Freddie Highmore (The Good Doctor), the return of Acorn TV’s popular mystery franchise Midsomer Murders, and the thrilling conclusion to Acorn Original The Gone. Film debuts include Shudder’s original twist on a spy thriller Reflection in a Dead Diamond, all-new horror sequels, Influencers and Jester 2, as well as the streaming debut of Tina Romero’s critically acclaimed glam-gore queer zombie comedy Queens of the Dead, starring Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Tomas Matos (Fire Island), Nina West (Rupaul’s Drag Race), Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story), Dominique Jackson (Pose), stand-up comic Margaret Cho and more.

Viewers are invited to find their merry with beloved holiday favorites, new festive specials, and more across its suite of networks and streaming services, including AMC’s annual “Best Christmas Ever” programming event featuring 600 hours of holiday films including Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express, Four Christmases and Fred Claus. The month-long programming event also features classics including White Christmas, the Rankin/Bass holiday stop-motion collection, and The Wizard of Oz, available for the first time on AMC this year.

For those looking for a new holiday favorite, Jay Duplass’ charming feature, The Baltimorons will be available on Sundance Now and AMC+, while Acorn TV is offering a new two-part Christmas special from its popular original series The Madame Blanc Mysteries. For horror fans, Shudder (and AMC+) will feature all-new specials including Joe Bob’s Cold Cruel Christmas, The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors as well as new holiday episodes of The Creep Tapes and The Haunted Season.

Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale Season 2 (AMC+ Original Series)

New Season Premieres Thursday, December 25; New Episodes Continue Weekly until the Season Finale on January 29

Season two picks up a year after the traumatic events of season one. Sarah Fenn (Elaine Cassidy, Belgravia: The Next Chapter) and her daughter Harper (Hazel Doupe, Say Nothing) are in hiding in Scotland, concealing Harper’s extraordinary powers, but a dark cloud is descending as recent anti-witch legislation has increased hate crimes. As Sarah worries worse is to come, she’s presented with a dramatic ultimatum – return to Sanctuary as the secret eyes and ears of the witch ruling body, The Moot, or have her magic bound. Determined to retain her powers and protect Harper at all costs, Sarah returns home just as a mysterious murder takes place, also drawing DCI Maggie Knight (Stephanie Levi-John, The Spanish Princess) back to Sanctuary.

From Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing, Fleabag) comes a new thriller starring Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, Orphan Black: Echoes) as a retired hitwoman living on a remote Greek island. When her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore, The Good Doctor) arrives seeking answers about his past, Julie’s violet history resurfaces, forcing them to flee together across Europe. As they uncover a dark conspiracy, their fractured relationship is tested by secrets, betrayal, and a threat that could destroy them both.

The Creep Tapes Season 2 (Shudder Original Series)

New Episodes Continue Every Friday until the Season Finale on December 19

From writers and executive producers Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, The Creep Tapes season two will continue to expose a collection of videotapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer (Duplass). Unfortunately, as the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior, and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake. Guest stars include David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, Dexter: Resurrection) Katie Aselton (The Morning Show, The League), and Robert Longstreet (Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Hill House).

In The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans season two, fourteen of the fiercest drag artists from past seasons (most of them top three finalists and fan favorites) will return to battle in design, performance, and makeup-based challenges inspired by horror, science fiction, fantasy, and the supernatural. The competitors will have to survive the show’s pillars of Filth, Horror and Glamour in order to win the crown and a $100,000 grand prize, a headlining spot on a forthcoming world tour, and the title of “Queen of the Underworld”. The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors (Shudder Original Special)

From The Boulet Brothers (The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula) and David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Late Night with the Devil) comes The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors, a chilling holiday-themed horror special produced by Boulet Brothers’ Productions and Good Fiend Productions. The film features four original shorts, each written and directed by a different genre powerhouse: The Boulet Brothers, Dastmalchian, Akeela Cooper (Malignant, M3GAN), and Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House). Starring Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), Steve Agee (Peacemaker), and Tracie Thoms (Death Proof), the anthology blends atmospheric horror, practical gore, and haunting holiday imagery into a new seasonal classic.

The Baltimorons (Sundance Now Film Premiere)

Fresh off its Audience Award at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival, director Jay Duplass’ The Baltimorons follows the newly sober Cliff (Michael Strassner) on an unexpected May/December adventure through Baltimore with Didi (Liz Larsen), his emergency dentist, after he cracks a tooth on Christmas Eve. While they can’t seem to solve their own problems, Cliff and Didi are uniquely equipped to help the other; Cliff longs to get back on stage with his improv troupe for the first time since becoming sober, and Didi would love the confidence to attend Christmas dinner with her daughter and intolerable ex-husband.
