ABC Presents the Return of TGIF Friday Nights!

ABC is heralding the return of TGIF. TGIF originally was a block of family-friendly sitcoms. Get ready for an all-new era of TGIF on ABC! The season premieres of “Fresh Off the Boat,” “Speechless” and “Child Support” are coming your way Friday, October 5 beginning at 8|7c.

It’s a night filled with big laughs and fun gameplay. Returning comedies “Fresh off the Boat” and “Speechless” kick things off on their new night followed by “Child Support,” which features adult contestants and priceless interactions between funnyman Ricky Gervais and a group of five children, who say the most unpredictable things.

SEASON PREMIERE 8:00PM ABC Fresh Off the Boat “Fresh Off the RV” Season five kicks off with the Huang family buying an RV. Jessica looks forward to doing a bookstore reading to help increase sales of her new novel; Honey and Marvin celebrate the birth of their child; Louis purchases an RV from NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; Emery and Evan worry about Eddie. Cast: Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, Ian Chen, Lucille Soong.

SEASON PREMIERE 8:30PM ABC Speechless “L-O-N-LONDON” Season three has the DiMeo’s set out to London so Maya can ask her estranged father for a loan to save their house; Jimmy tries to ensure that JJ enjoys his trip; Ray attempts to attract British girls; Kenneth reveals a love for royal things. Cast: Minnie Driver, John Bowie, Cedric Yarbrough, Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, Kyla Kenedy.

SERIES PREMIERE 9:00PM ABC “Child Support” is a one-hour gameshow from Golden Globe(R) and Emmy(R) Award-Winning Ricky Gervais and Banijay Studios North America. The series features adult contestants and priceless interactions between funnyman Ricky Gervais and a group of five kids who say the most unpredictable things. Hosted by Fred Savage, contestants are asked to answer 10 questions correctly to earn the top prize. If they answer incorrectly, the contestants have a chance to be saved by the five kids who have been asked the same question by Gervais.

The night caps off with a new episode of “20/20” with David Muir, Amy Robach, Elizabeth Vargas, Chris Cuomo, and John Stossel.

The new ABC TGIF line-up is up against new episodes of CBS’ “MacGyver” at 8PM, Hawaii Five-0, at 9PM, and Blue Bloods at 10PM. NBC is airing repeats of “Manifest” and “New Amsterdam” and a new episode of “Dateline NBC” at 10PM

FOX has the second episode of the new “Last Man Standing,” “The Cool Kids,” and Hell’s Kitchen at 9PM.
