First, she won a Tony Award and now seized victory and the $250,000 prize in the first US version of Celebrity Big Brother.
Sunday night the Celebrity Big Brother jury selected Marissa Winokur as the winner.
The 45-year-old Winokur was cooped up in a house for 30 days with such contenders as: Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault, former Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville and American Pie actress Shannon Elizabeth, retired MMA fighter Chuck Liddell and NBA player-turned-coach Metta World Peace, Big Time Rush singer James Maslow and Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath, as did Miss Colombia 2014 Ariadna Gutierrez and The Cosby Show actress Keshia Knight Pulliam.
As the houseguests were voted out one-by-one, they became members of the jury that would ultimately select the winner.
While in the house, Winokur became close friends with Ross Matthews, a celebrity interviewer and former intern on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. It seemed so fitting that after all the competitions were over the duo would end up the final two.
