Movie to TV Pop Poll

Did you know there have been over one hundred movies to TV show adaptations? If you didn't think there were that many, it's because most were very forgettable, however, in a few cases it worked out well.  Even with all the failed attempts to bring the big screen to the small screen, there are 30 new attempts being worked on right now!

On the subject of successful crossovers, some viewers even preferred the TV versions to their cinematic sisters, I'm thinking of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in that category, and in the case of M*A*S*H, many of it's fans never even saw the movie.

Out of the over one hundred TV shows based on movies, I've narrowed the list down to 16 of the most memorable, and leaving out animated shows, and flops like Gung Ho, Foul Play, and Stir Crazy.
